Burger King expands in China
Fast-food giant Burger King has made a commitment to open 1,000 restaurants in China.
The fast food franchise will erect the stores over the next five years to add to its fast growing status in China.
Burger King currently owns 63 outlets in China while its main rival, McDonald's, owns 1,400.
The company, which was dropped from the NYSE is hoping to relist over the next couple of months.
The Miami-based Burger King said earlier it would apply to go back on the big board following a sale a 29% stake in the company to a British-based investment company.
