Russia may be invited to join alliance

Russian membership in NATO has become a distinct possibility under the Obama administration.
Assistant Secretary of State Philip Gordon has said the United States will consider Russian membership in the name of common security.
Gordon said Russia should not be excluded from NATO if it can meet the criteria for membership and there is agreement within the rest of the alliance.
The NATO military alliance was originally founded to protect Europe from Soviet aggression.
Russia has often objected to the alliance's expansion, especially as it grows to include the countries on Russia’s border.  Email this story to a friend

The idea here is not to fight Russia to compete with world resources but rather join alliances with Russia and gangrape (with Russia) the rest of the world in exploiting the world’s resources and split the profit.

Russia should be cautious!!
Think this over!NATO is an evil expansionist force.Russia is an antidote to this evil.
Russia has been a paraiah all along to NATO.So what’s the use for Russia in joining NATO.Nothing ,absolutely nothing!!
NATO has been closing all the gateways to Russia(East germany,Iraq,Kosovo anmd Afghanistan).More gateways are in NATO’s sight.But this will take a lot of time and money.So NATO thinks of including Russia in NATO,and if Russia accepts,it is like a tiger foolishly and willingly allowing itself to be encoiled by an anaconda.

Okay to have Russia in club to share its duty for human affairs.
But USA needs, and shares with Russian to watch the world, we should look deeply into the world’s problem now (There is some weird dreamer like to take over the world because they are lucky making alot of money). Despite, some of us do not trust Russian could handle the world on its behavior, but they are in good sharing and improving behavior.

If Nato is really a diffensive
If Nato is really a defensive alliance,why shouldn’t Russia join it ?! Nato was created exactly to protect the West from communist Russia; now that Russia is no longer communist, whom does Nato fear?
