Murderer of TV news anchor could face death penalty

A jury in the US has convicted a man of the murder of an Arkansas TV anchorwoman.
The man, Curtis Lavelle Vance, is now facing the death penalty.
In the capital murder case, Vance was accused of beating to death KATV host Anne Pressly in her Little Rock home on Oct. 20th, 2008.
She remained unconscious after being beaten and raped by Vance and died five days after the offence.
According to Vance he had only gone to Pressly's home to steal electronic equipment.
Jurors will meet again to decide whether he should face death or life in prison without parole.  Email this story to a friend
