JERUSALEM, May 3 (Xinhua) -- Three foreign airlines resumed flights to Israel on Sunday, as air travel gradually recovers amid the U.S.-Iran ceasefire, according to the airlines and Israeli airport arrival records.

Azerbaijan's national carrier, Azerbaijan Airlines, resumed operations in Israel with a flight from Baku to Tel Aviv.

Uzbekistan's Centrum Air has resumed flights from Samarkand to Tel Aviv and plans to resume the Tashkent-Tel Aviv route on Tuesday.

Ukraine's air carrier SkyUp also resumed flights to Israel.

All air traffic to Israel was suspended on Feb. 28, when the United States and Israel launched joint strike on Iran. International airlines have begun resuming flights to Israel after the U.S.-Iran ceasefire took effect on April 8.
