(250829) -- BARSKOON, Aug. 29, 2025 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Liu Jiangping addresses a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Barskoon-Bedel highway in eastern Kyrgyzstan's Issyk-Kul region, Aug. 27, 2025. The 150 kilometer-long highway, which will link the country to the Bedel checkpoint on the Chinese border, is scheduled for completion in 2030.
